This Temple

太魯閣, originally uploaded by bluelost.

Walls, doors and windows
Pillars of stone
Form marble steps up into
This temple, my home.

If you look in, you'll find me.
If I look out, I see you.
Safe inside these walls
I've built myself a room.

Look not for how to enter
(It's by invitation only)
Ask not for free admittance
(Only those dearest get in.)

My heart is a temple,
and way up high on its throne
Rests the Spirit of God,
and my little soul, communing as one.

  3. Yes, I agree! The photo was perfect for matching with the poem. Which, yes, I did write. :)

  4. I do like it! Don't be surprised if it ends up as a song one of these days ;{)

Run your Fingers
along those Keys
and with your tapping tender
Wisdom's word or
A Good retort,
Kind intender.

Just remember,
the Lord watches and Hears.
