Celebration of All The Insane, Strange, Nonsensical Things Humans Tend to Say To Each Other

 I figure it this way:

Incorrect speech and speech that just plain does not makes sense happens SO often (my own habits included), why not just make a day of it? :D That way.... all our verbal absurdities are confined to one huge, fluffing, overflowing, crazy day! Nice idea, eh?
[Reader goes to speak]

What's that?
[Reader tries to answer]

Oh, yep. I though so too. ;)

"Do not tell me that I can't do that, you'll make me want to do it!" 

[UMM, too late!]

"I can just hear them now....haha..." 

[eek, you're scarin' me.]

"Whaddya mean 'you don't know'?!" 

[I mean, read my lips, I-Don't-Know. haha!]

"Precisely. That's why I think we should go with _my_ idea instead!" 

[Wha! So humble...]

"Can you just ______ for ONE SECOND?" 

[hmm, I'll try but doing it for only a split second might be tricky...]

"I can just see you now....haha."  

[Um, thanks? *gulp*]

"Puuhhhlease." 

 [I think you meant to say: "please'. I'm familiar with that word because we use it around here a good deal. However, I'm not quite sure what you were trying to say!]

"Nope. No-can-do."  

["No can do"? That is incorrectly worded!]

"Just hold on ONE more second and I'll be right there!" 

[1/2 hour later...]

"Can you imagine life without ________ ?"  

[ tries to answer] 

"No, neither can I." 

[Thanks, I uh...]

"That's funny cause...... I DON'T REMEMBER TELLING YOU TO DO THAT!"  

[Yikes! The evil eye!]

"I love you, but--" 

[augh! you either Do or Don't!]

"Just, just _bear_ with me, okay?!" 

[bear with---? huh?]

"Well I don't know!"

[....okay! okay!]

"Now...now, don't lose your head!" 

 [Lose my head? No, no worries of that, mate. :P ]

"Well that's fantastic, but..." 

[But, what???]

"Oh! that's a great plan indeed." (later.)"Okay, so now we just have to figure out what to do..." [Wait, what? I thought you just said you.... oh never mind. ]

"Be there in a second!"  

[with no intention of zipping right there...ahem!]

"Can you tell why you did that?"  

[Hmm, yes? No? I don't know. ;) ]

"Well don't loose your cool about it! Geesh..." 

[Cool? Who has a cool? Is it something like having a groove? ]

So there you have it.

Funny Wording Day! Today, celebrate saying everything wrong, crazy, nonsensical and absurd!

It's awesome in it's own way. ;)
